Undergraduate Research Project Outcome: Demonstrated the enhancement of organic dye degradation for wastewater treatment using ZnO-based nanoarrays, driven by the piezoelectric effect in conjunction with external ultrasonic and solar stimuli.

Observe unreported THz spectral anomaly —boson peaks— across two rare-earth metallic oxide phases on tantalum surface (beyond silicon-based), correlating to amorphous oxides at the nanoscale, which is contributing as loss channels or two-level systems in cryogenic temperature measurements.
